Story by Fran Jansen Webb

Little Rock, AR

I believe Mom and Dad received this teapot as a wedding gift in 1952. It was filled with hot tea at almost every meal until April of 2020 when mom passed away and joined dad in heaven.

It was a mainstay on our family dining table, ever-present even as the seats around that table increased with the addition of each child, spouse, and grandchild. It appears in almost every old photo taken when we were at the table.

I’m not sure how the lid cracked or the lip was chipped, but that does not diminish the value. I cherish it.
