This John Deer tractor reminds me of my grandfather Ralph Coppess. My earliest memory is of riding on the tractor with him.
I remember the bib blue jean overalls he wore. He also smoked a pipe and liked a cherry blend.
I resemble the Coppess side of the family with a similar nose and eyes. The tractor was received from Grandfather and Grandmother Coppess as a child.
I found it in what was left of my home in the destruction of the tornado at the end of March.
