Every year around Christmas, a little boy in my neighborhood that I babysit gives my family and me an ornament for our tree. Sometimes they’re homemade with our names on them or even just cute store-bought ones. It has become one of my favorite traditions and it’s always something I look forward to.
As a community, we are all really close. So, this is just something that we do. This ornament means so much to me because it just represents our neighborhood and what Christmas is all about.
I will forever love receiving these ornaments from him as time goes by to treasure and hold on to. I’m excited to see what ornament we get next Christmas so I can add it to our tree with all of the other ones.
