As I’m sure many other Potterheads can attest, growing up with Harry Potter was simply magical. The first film came out in 2001, when I (like Harry Potter) was eleven. So, I quite literally grew up with the characters.
As an adult, going to the Wizarding World theme park in Orlando allows me to escape the stress of adult life and reconnect to a sense of pure joy I haven’t felt since I was a child. I bought this Hogwarts glass there, and often use it to enjoy an adult beverage at the end of a hard day at work.
Fun fact: This is actually my second Hogwarts glass. The first was bought during my first trip to the Wizarding World in 2015, and tragically dropped while I was washing it a few years later. Thankfully, I was able to replace it during my second trip there in 2020.
